IN LOVING MEMORY OF WAGDI GOBRIAL

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God” (Matthew 5:8)

It is with great sadness that the Gobrial family announces the passing of our beloved Wagdi Gobrial.

Wagdi Gobrial, 74, of Edison, passed away on November 7, 2024, after a long battle with various health issues. Born in Egypt, he immigrated to the United States in 1980 after meeting his future wife, Mary. The couple married in 1982 and initially settled in South Plainfield, NJ, before eventually making Edison their home. Wagdi cherished spending time with his children, attending their youth sports events, where he learned and developed a love for baseball. He had a passion for cars and kept close ties with family back in Egypt. Known for his vibrant personality, Wagdi was the life of any family gathering, often showcasing his belly dancing skills. He worked as an engineer for the New Jersey Department of Transportation before retiring in 2012.
