Sunita Vijay Desai Obituary (1946 - 2022) - North Brunswick Township, New Jersey

It is with great sadness The Montoya Family announces the passing of their beloved Sunita V. Desai. Sunita Desai was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and dear friend. After a short illness, she died suddenly on January 10th, 2022 at the age of seventy five. She was born in Mumbai, India on May 14th, 1946. She met and married the love of her life, Vijay Harridutta Desai, on December 19, 1969 and together they had one daughter, Alpa Desai Montoya. They emigrated from India to the United States on September 4th, 1975, where they worked hard to create a beautiful life for themselves and their extended family. In 1994 they happily welcomed their son-in-law, Albert Montoya, who was to her like a son. Sunita's hobbies included cooking delicious meals for her family, going on walks, and lovingly supporting her many friends. She was very personable, friendly and giving. After her beloved husband, her greatest loves were her four grandchildren, Albert, Alexa, Alaina, and Vijay. She delighted in each of them. A viewing is scheduled for Thursday, January 13th at 6:00PM to 7:30PM at Ruby Memorial Funeral & Cremation Services at 2050 US-130 North Brunswick, New Jersey 08902. The funeral will be private.
