"Sumati B. Mistry, 81, of Cherry Hill, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2023, in her home surrounded by loved ones. Sumati was born in Valsad, India, on June 2, 1942. When she was seventeen, Sumati met her late husband, Bagwandas. They married shortly after in 1959 and went on to raise a beautiful family together. The couple then moved to the US in 1990. Sumati was a joyful and loving family woman who enjoyed cooking, drinking chai with loved ones, watching tv serials, and spending time in the garden looking at flowers. She was nurturing and kind and loved by everyone who knew her. Daughter of the late Mrs. Revaben and Amratlal Mistry. Sister to 4 siblings. Beloved wife for 62 years to Bhagwandas Mistry. Devoted mother to Manda and her husband Vijay, Tina and her husband Bankim, Priti and her husband Harshad, Kirti and her husband Devesh, and Manish and his wife, Hema. Dear grandmother of Katherine, Priyal, Robert, Harshil, Viral, and his wife Jessica, Jay, Arti, Bhavik, and Neil.
