With a profound sense of loss and heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful transition of Sriram Venkatraman, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend on October 2nd, 2026. Born on April 24th, 1967, in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India, Sriram was the epitome of reliability, compassion, and an inspiration to all who had the good fortune to know him. His life was a testament to the Hindu verse, "Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu," which means "May all beings everywhere be happy and free."
Sriram was a loving soul who fearlessly wore his heart on his sleeve. His compassionate nature and inherent kindness were evident in his daily interactions with everyone he met. As an Engagement Director at Salesforce, he was revered for his dedication and expertise, gaining recognition as a Triple Star Ranger. Despite his professional accomplishments, his humility remained one of his most admirable qualities. Sriram was a beacon of light, sparking joy and laughter wherever he went. His hobbies included art, hiking, camping, and gardening. He relished his time with our children, teaching them to appreciate the beauty of nature and the world around them. A faithful member of the New Jersey Ayyappa Bhakta Mandali and the Boy Scouts of America, Sriram's spiritual journey was as inspiring as his life.
Sriram leaves behind his loving wife, Ananthalakshmi Balakrihanan, his devoted son Ajay Venkatraman, his cherished daughter Akila Venkatraman, his supportive brothers Balakrishnan Venkatraman and Chandrasekaran Venkatraman. He is preceded in death by his parents Kadayam Venkatraman and Savitri Venkatraman. Sriram's legacy is a tapestry of love, devotion, and enduring memories that will forever be engraved in our hearts.
As we remember Sriram, we invite you to share your treasured memories and upload photos of him to the memorial page. These shared memories will serve as a comforting reminder of the impact Sriram had on all of us, ensuring that his legacy continues to inspire and guide us.
