It is with deep sadness that we are informing about the passing of our beloved Father Sri Pitchayya Sarma, Samavedam.

Sri Pitchayya Sarma passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024. We pray to God for his departed Atma/Soul to rest in Eternal peace and give strength to the family members to bear the loss of Sri Pitchayya Sarma.

Sri Pitchayya Sarma was born on August 9th, 1946, in Vasantawada, West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh, INDIA, to Smt. Subbalakshmi and Sri. Nageshwara Rao. He was a hard working, industrious, soft and patient son, brother, husband and father. He married Smt. Sukrutha Kumari in 1971 and spent their life together for more than 50 years.

He is survived by his dear wife, Smt. Sukrutha Kumari; Children: Srinivas Samavedam and wife Sharda; Chandrasekhar Samavedam and wife Haritha; Hanuma Sri Donepudi and Husband Raghu Donepudi; Grandchildren: Trisha Samavedam, Tanisha Samavedam, Aditya Samavedam, Madhav Donepudi, Lokesh Donepudi; Brothers: Sri. Krishna Mohan Samavedam, Sri. Dakshina Murthy Samavedam; Sisters: Smt. Annapurna and Smt. Vasundhara and all their families.

He is preceded in death by his Parents: Smt. Subbalakshmi Samavedam and Sri. Nageshwara Rao Samavedam; Younger brother, Sri. Surya Kumar Samavedam.

His final rites will be performed at: Franklin Memorial Park, 1800 NJ-27, North Brunswick Township, NJ 08902 between 1 PM and 3 PM by sons Srinivas Samavedam and Chandrasekhar Samavedam under the guidance of Vedic Pundit as according to Sanathana Dharma.
