Shyam Singh Maharjan Obituary (1973 - 2018)

In Loving Memory of Shyam Sundar Singh Maharjan, 44, of Princeton, NJ, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from a sudden unknown illness. Shyam passed at Princeton Medical Center in Plainsboro with his family by his side. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Christine Cuoco of Ruby Memorial Funeral & Cremation Services. Private Cremation Services will take place on Thursday at The Crematory Chapel at Holy Cross Burial Park in East Brunswick (Monroe). Shyam was born and raised in Kathmandu, Nepal. He met the love of his life, Sara Young-Singh, while working in Australia. Shyam and Sara built a life together in Vermont, where their two daughters were born, and resided for the past 10 years in Princeton, NJ. Shyam was an artist and a lover of nature, and he touched many lives through his generosity and devotion to family and friends. Though he lived in the United States for much of his adult life, he always had a passionate love for his mother country Nepal. Shyam's loves of his life were his wife Sara, and his two daughters Eva and Sophia. He was a fantastic husband and an even better father. With Eva and Sophia just 14 and 12 years old, we are hoping to raise money to establish an educational fund to support them for years to come. His number one wish in life was to make sure his daughters were secure and we intend to help indefinitely to honor him. Shyam also put a great value on education, and nothing would keep his memory alive more than your contribution to get this fund launched. Sara, Eva and Sophia were Shyam's everything. Shyam's greatest life goal would be the security of his daughters and their education, and we believe this to be the best way to honor Shyam.
