Ram Pratap Kaistha Obituary (1927 - 2023)

Ram Pratap Kaistha, "Prince" as he was affectionately known, passed from this earth on Monday, October 2, 2023 at the age of 96, surrounded by his loving family. From his roots in Nagrota Bagwan, India to his career in Calcutta and Bombay and then in later life, frequent trips to the U.S., he led a rich life in the love and respect of his family and friends. Ram is survived by his beloved wife, Swaran Lata Pratap, with whom he shared 58 years of blissful marriage, as well as his loving son Ajay (wife Daniela) and daughter, Laxmi (husband Depinder). His greatest joy was his children and grandchildren, Maya (husband Titouan), Marco and Raunaq, as well as recently a blessing of a cherished great-grandson, Marcello.
