(John 11:25) It is with great sadness that the Azer family announces the passing of our beloved Deacon Dr. Elia Ibrahim Azer. Deacon Dr. Elia Ibrahim Azer, 72, passed away peacefully with his blessed family by his side on Saturday, January 20, 2024 being one of the 7 major Feast Days of the Coptic Church, The Feast of Theophany. He is survived by his loving family: Devoted Husband of Soheir Azer Cherished Father of Mina Azer husband of Martha, Andrew Azer husband of Youssi, and Mary Azer Adored Grandfather of Cyril, Gregory, Shere, Theodore, Daniel, and Anthony Azer Admired Brother of Ishak Azer and his wife Gamila, Youssif Azer and his wife Yvonne, Medhat Azer and his wife Carolyn, Remonda Sargious and her husband Abdelmessih, Howida Gendy and her Late husband Adel, and Girgis Azer and his wife Amany Beloved Brother-in-Law of Late Nabil Kaldas, Magdy Kaldas, and Yvonne Kaldas ***** SERVICE SCHEDULE ***** There will be a CONDOLENCE SERVICE on Monday, January 22, 2024 starting at 7:00pm until 9:00pm at Queen St Mary Coptic Orthodox Church, 283 Davidson Mill Rd, Monroe, NJ 08831. The FUNERAL SERVICE and Prayers will be on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 10:30am at St Mary Coptic Orthodox Church, 433 Riva Avenue, East Brunswick, NJ 08816 after the Divine Liturgy of the Believers which shall start promptly at 8:00 AM at St. Mary Coptic Orthodox Church, 433 Riva Ave., East Brunswick, NJ 08816. The INTERMENT will be at Franklin Memorial Park, 1800 Rt 27 (corner of Cozzens Lane), North Brunswick, NJ 08902 immediately following the funeral prayers. Family, friends, and guests are invited to the FUNERAL AGAPE MEAL (Repast) celebrating the life of our beloved Deacon Dr Elia Azer (to begin immediately after the interment) at St Mary Coptic Orthodox Church in the Fr Bishoy Fellowship Hall (Main level).
