Condolence From: Debbie Kenderdine
Condolence: Dear Mi Lee, Dorothy, Jun Sung, and family:
I met Hee-Young 4.5 years ago, shortly after we spoke on the phone about his career endeavors, design philosophy, and his desire to join Spiezle. Within a few weeks he was a member of our team contributing his talent and his never ending infectious love for the practice of architecture. Through the years I enjoyed hearing about his family - he was so very proud of each of you - his eyes lit up and he smiled graciously every time I asked about him about you.
There are no words that adequately describe the wonderful person he was however the first few that come to mind are "gentleman; gracious; proud; kind; professional; mentor; teacher; and a devoted family man".
I will greatly miss our talks in the pantry and halls at Spiezle. I/we have his design signature and influence on many of our projects so in retrospect he will be with us - always.
