Glenn Forrest Grotz, 91, of Ewing, formerly of Princeton Junction, NJ, died peacefully on Saturday, August 5, 2017, with his loving family by his side. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Ruby Memorial of Hightstown, NJ. Family and friends may share memories and condolences at www.rubymemorialhome.com. Private Cremation to take place at The Crematory at Holy Cross Burial Park in East Brunswick, NJ on Monday, August 7, 2017. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 11:00 am at Prince of Peace Church in Princeton Junction, NJ. Burial of ashes will take place privately at a later date.
Born in Oak Park, Illinois to the late Fred and Ida (Jackson) Grotz, Glenn lived in Maywood Illinois and Huntington Station New York before moving to Princeton Junction, NJ, in 1980. He proudly served our country during WWII with the U.S. Navy. He worked as an Electrical Engineer at the Princeton Plasma Physics Lab at Princeton University for over 10 years ,and then with MCG Electronics. He retired in 1999.
Beloved husband of 65 years to Caroline (Brown) Grotz. Devoted father to Linda(Chris), Robert, Paul, Laura (Jeff), Daniel (Jen), and Virginia (Don). Cherished grandfather to Abigail, Aidan, Carrie, and Kyle.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
